---------------------------
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTICE
---------------------------
By law in any place on Earth decent enough to forbid theft, you are not permitted to
download and play this game unless you own the actual original UMD disc. If you do not
own the game and download and play it anyways, you are STEALING and are therefore
a THIEF! You are most probably a very decent person, so please do go out and
buy the game before downloading this if you do not already own the actual UMD.
Do not take this notice as just some anti-piracy notice or "support the developers!"
note, I am dead serious.
I am ONLY uploading this for the purpose of an UNDUB (replacement of English voice
acting with Japanese voice acting). Note then, that I am in no way responsible if
you decide to steal this game.
If the voice audio files did not account for 60%-80% of the entire game size,
making a patch file useless, I would release a patch instead.
---------------
Information
---------------
Title.............: UNDUB of Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Developer.........: TOSE, tri-Ace
Release Date......: October 21, 2008
Publisher.........: Square-Enix
---------------
Description
---------------
An undub of Star Ocean: Second Evolution for the PSP - all English voice audio has
been replaced with the original Japanese audio.
If you would like to thank me, a simple thank you comment will do. However,
if you would consider doing something good for my sake, such as donating just
a small amount to a humanitarian orginization, or even just helping people
around you, I will be forever grateful.
---------------
IMPORTANT!
---------------
You MUST enable running "plain modules" in UMD/ISO on your PSP to run this.
If you have M33 custom firmware installed, turn on your PSP and HOLD the power switch
until it turns off to put it into cold boot. Then turn it back on while holding the R
button to pop up the Recovery Menu. Go to Advanced>Advanced Configuration, go to
"Plain Modules in UMD/ISO" and press X to enable it (if it isn't already).
Exit the menu and start the game.
I do not recommend compressing this game to a CSO since it constantly needs to read
from the ISO and will thus lag a lot if compressed.
Again, please do not pirate this game.
---------------
Notes
---------------
Adding both the English and Japanese audio would be impractical, if
not impossible, for the developers simply due to the size of the audio files.
So be grateful that they included voice acting for almost every bit of dialogue
in the game, whether or not it was done with voice acting you dislike, and
please do not go bashing them for that. They did an amazing job, especially
with the translation.
I personally do not have anything against English dubs, but just felt that
this and Second Evolution would be better with the Japanese voice acting,
since in my opinion, the Japanese voice acting is much better (in this case).
I've also had a lot of people asking me how they can do an undub after I released
First Departure. I couldn't answer them all, sorry, but here's your answer:
If you have to ask the question in the first place, then you can't do an undub
(yet).
Anyways, enjoy. Again, please do not steal this game! Just because no one
can see you, doesn't make it any better than physical theft. If you can't
afford the game, then please, just don't play it until you can.

Special Thanks
---------------
Many, many thanks to KC at romhacking.net for his information and code
for tri-Ace's SLZ compression, which this undub could not have been done without.
And special thanks to:
To the developers of UMDGen for their amazing software
To the person who undubbed Star Ocean: The Second Story which helped me get started
To the author of AT3PMFPLAY, which allowed me to undub the videos with my PSP2000
To Dark Alex/Team M33 for their custom firmware
The guys at Kotoba for getting me into undubbing
And lastly but not least, the developers for such an awesome game.

Disclaimer
---------------
Please remember I am not and never will be responsible if you do not own the
game and are thus stealing it by downloading this. If you are doing so
anyways please reconsider for YOUR sake.
Also please note that I am not responsible for what you DO with this game.
Whether you waste your time playing it and neglecting more important things
or not. I simply replaced the English audio with the Japanese audio - I had
nothing to do with the making of this game.
